The IHC Chapter 20 executive is excited to offer a scholarship in the amount of $500.00 to a student who is entering their second year of post secondary education or trade studies related to agriculture, and who is related to a IHC Chapter 20 member (member must be in good standing for at least the last two calendar years – 2022 & 2023).

If you or a spouse, child, grandchild or other relative is interested in applying, please contact Kathie at macdonaldkr1@gmail.com for an IHC20 Scholarship Application Form and then submit the completed form and a short essay stating your reasons for applying!

International Harvester Company, as we fondly remember, was based principally and mostly in the agricultural and transportation industry.  The IHC Chapter 20 selection committee is very interested in promoting and encouraging future generations and students to enter the agriculture and transportation sector areas of study. 

The selection committee is looking for information about the applicant related to the school or course they are attending, community involvement, hobbies and interests, and future goals!

The deadline for application for 2023 is October 31, 2023.

If selected, those chosen for the award will be contacted sometime shortly thereafter. The recipient will be invited to speak to the members of IH Chapter 20 at either the Fall Potluck or the spring Pancake Day. The scholarship recipient will have their name & photo published in the IH Chapter 20 newsletter, Red Iron Report, and may be posted to our website or Facebook page.
