Lucknow Kites in the Field (invited)

Saturday September 24 – Noon to 4:00 p.m.
(night fly 6:00 p.m. until after dark)
Sunday September 25 – Noon to 4:00 p.m.
Location: Walter St. Lucknow ON

Event Details:  FREE!!! Come out to Graceland in Lucknow Ontario. and enjoy Kites in the Field. A wonderful two day
family fun event. See professional kite fliers showing their big beautiful kites. See demonstrations, talk to
the pros, and take some awesome pictures. Bring your lawn chairs, a picnic lunch and a kite or two, and fly
them with kites as big as a BUS!! You’ll see whales, dragons, fish and birds in the sky, as well as many
other colourful and beautiful kites.

The event organizers have invited “INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CLUB CHAPTER 20 ONTARIO”
to display antique farm equipment at this year’s family fun event. There has been a positive response from
Chapter 20 Members. At the IHC Chapter 20 April Pancake breakfast meeting the executives gave the go
ahead to accept the invitation. However the participation is voluntary and trucking tractors is expensive. I
ask that any member capable of displaying memorabilia on Saturday September 24, 2022 to please do so.
The kite fly is a two day event and equipment is welcome both days however it is easier to get participation
for a 1 day event so our focus will be on Saturday. If you wish to camp, there is sufficient area at the back
of the tractor field. The kite fly is an annual event. It was drive through only the last 2 years so we look
forward to meeting with the public again this year.

IHC Chapter 20 members, please let Jim Watson know if you intend to bring equipment.
